What to include in a lighting quotation brief
A useful quotation starts with a traceable product reference and the variables that can change the commercial basis. Unknown items can stay open; they should not be guessed.

Start with seven core inputs.
Product reference
Use an exact model when one is known. Otherwise state the product family and include the closest product-page or catalog reference.
Destination market
Name the country or market because electrical, documentation, installation and presentation expectations may differ.
Quantity
Give the required quantity or an estimated range. Quantity affects the packing and commercial basis.
Electrical requirement
State voltage, frequency and any plug, charging or control requirement that applies to the intended market.
Configuration
Identify the finish, light or control option, mounting arrangement and required accessories where the model offers choices.
Packing and branding
List label, manual, color box, carton mark or other buyer-facing requirements that must follow the order.
Delivery destination
Provide the destination port or handover point used to prepare the quotation and shipment discussion.
Separate the product reference from the final price.
