What packing information to confirm before shipment

Packing completes the product presented to the buyer. Protection, marks, quantity and handover records should all follow the same confirmed order reference.

01

Keep four packing checks connected.

01

Product protection

Match the unit pack, internal protection and outer carton to the product form and confirmed packing requirement.

02

Buyer marks

Check labels, manuals, accessory cards and carton information as one buyer-facing presentation system.

03

Quantity control

Reconcile unit packs, master cartons and any pallet basis so the shipped count matches the commercial record.

04

Shipment handover

Keep the order reference, packing record and delivery information aligned when the shipment leaves production control.

02

Confirm the inputs that can change the packing basis.

  • Required unit-pack and outer-carton format
  • Units per carton and any inner-box structure
  • Recorded carton dimensions and gross or net weights where available
  • Brand, product, compliance or handling labels required for the market
  • Manual language, accessory cards and included components
  • Carton marks, destination reference and any special handling requirement

Product pages publish available packing fields for individual models. They do not replace buyer confirmation when branding, destination or shipment requirements change the standard basis.

03

Make the handover record traceable.

The useful record connects the model and configuration to packing quantity, carton information, buyer marks and the shipment reference. If one item changes, the related labels, count and commercial documents should be checked against the same order.

Packing is also a quotation variable.Different retail packs, manuals, marks, accessories or carton arrangements can change the final commercial basis. Include them before the quotation is confirmed.

The four-stage packing flow shows how protection, buyer-facing information, quantity control and handover remain connected. Use the quotation brief to record any non-standard requirement before commercial confirmation.
