How to compare four fan-light formats

Begin with the physical format and installation idea. Then compare the exact model’s electrical, lighting, control, size and packing information.

01

Use the series code to identify the format.

CFL

Flush-mount fan lights

Start here when the requirement calls for a flush-mount fan-light format. Review the exact model for size, controls, lighting and installation details.

IFL

Retractable-blade fan lights

This family groups models whose visible product structure uses retractable blades. Confirm blade structure, mounting and model-specific performance on the detail page.

MFL

E27 compact fan lights

This family groups compact E27 fan-light formats. Use the model record to check the actual form, power, controls and application information.

SFL

SFL · straight-blade ceiling format

This family groups straight-blade ceiling formats. Compare the individual model’s dimensions, motor, lighting, controls and construction.

02

Compare models in a fixed order.

  1. Installation and product formConfirm that the physical format and mounting arrangement fit the intended space.
  2. Dimensions and blade structureRead the actual overall size, blade type, blade count and material where the model publishes them.
  3. Electrical and lightingCheck rated power, input voltage, light-source power, luminous flux, CCT and CRI only where listed.
  4. Performance and controlsReview motor type, speed levels, operating modes, reverse function and control method when those fields are present.
  5. Packing and order referenceFinish with MOQ, units per carton, carton dimensions, weights and accessories shown for that model.
03

Record the reason for the selection.

A model decision is easier to review when it records the intended room or market, mounting condition, size limit, electrical requirement, required controls and packing basis. This prevents a series label from being treated as a complete specification.

Format is not performance. Two models in the same series can publish different specifications. Use the series to narrow the range, then rely on the exact product record.
Next step

Move from format to exact model.

Use the Product series selector in the directory, then open a model to review its visible facts. For an example of how a compact E27 fan-light system is broken into parts, use the engineering reference.
